Just a few months away from its launch, the Hyundai Alcazar facelift has once again been spied on during testing. Hyundai is planning to launch the updated 2024 Alcazar model in India this coming September. The facelifted model was supposed to be launched a few months ago, but Hyundai delayed its launch due to various factors. What features will the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift come with?
2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Design Changes:
Alcazar is said to hate the front design, which is based on the design of the 2024 Creta facelift. Mainly its grille will stick to the grille design of the Creta facelift.
Design changes expected on the 2024 Alcazar facelift include a split headlamp design, redesigned front and rear bumpers, new LED tail lamps at the rear and newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels.
2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Features:
We can expect a new dashboard on the Alcazar with a twin screen setup similar to the one offered on the Creta facelift model. The secondary ADAS safety suite is mainly expected to include Forward Collision Assist, Blind Spot Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning and Smart Cruise Control.
While ADAS facilities are being provided only in low-cost compact SUVs, it seems that ADAS facilities will definitely be included in the new Alcazar. Like the previous Alcazar model, the new 2024 Alcazar facelift is expected to come in 6 and 7 seater configurations.
2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Engine:
It seems that the new Alcazar facelift will be launched with the same two engines offered at present without any mechanical changes. The current Alcazar model is offered with two engine options, a 1.5 liter diesel that produces 116hp of power and 250Nm of torque and a 1.5 liter turbo petrol that produces 160hp of power and 253Nm of torque.
The current model is offered with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options with the diesel engine and 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox options with the petrol engine. The same is going to continue with the facelift as well.
2024 Hyundai Alcazar Price and Release:
The new Alcazar facelift model is expected to be launched in September. Otherwise it may be released in October due to the festive season.
The current Alcazar model is priced between Rs 16.78 lakh and Rs 21.28 lakh ex-showroom. It seems that the new Alcazar facelift model will be released at a slightly higher price than this.
