3rd June is declared as the classical day of the artist’s birth

The Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly session started on June 20. Debate on sector-wise grant requests is underway. In this situation yesterday (June 24) a discussion was held on Tamil development and news department grant requests. Departmental Minister M.B. Saminathan answered questions and made new announcements.

Accordingly, he announced in the Legislative Assembly that from now on January 25th will be observed as ‘Tamil Language Martyrs’ Day’. Similarly, he announced that June 3, the birthday of former Chief Minister and DMK leader M. Karunanidhi, would be celebrated as ‘Semmozhi Day’.

Following the announcement of the Tamil Development Department, Saminathan said that essay competitions and speech competitions will be held for students of class 11 and 12 and college students in each district. He said that the winning students will be given cash prizes and prizes. A total cash prize of Rs 1,88,57,000 will be awarded.

Aru. Alagappan, Ramalingam, So. Sathyaseelan, Mr. Ra. Govt., Bawalar Cha. Balasundaram, Ga. Pa. Aravanan, Ka. Tha. Thirunavukarasu, Ra. Kumaravelan, and poet K. Velavendan’s works will be nationalized at a cost of Rs.91,35,000.

Authors who write high-quality books and publishing companies will be awarded cash prizes of Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively. It was Rs 30,000 and Rs 10,000 earlier, but now the amount has been increased.

Saminathan said that the Tamil Forum building in Chandigarh would be expanded and the Tamil Sangh hall in Delhi would be renovated at a cost of Rs 50 lakh each.
