India got independence on 15 August 1947. We celebrate this every year in a special way. In that way, the 78th anniversary celebrations have ended today. Arrangements have been made to celebrate this year’s Independence Day celebrations with the theme “Valaranda Bharatham”. Prime Minister Modi will hoist the national flag at the Red Fort in the capital Delhi at 7.30 am today.

Har kar tiranga
The ruling BJP government at the center had introduced a special initiative called “Har Kar Tiranga” two years ago. People are implementing this in the current year as well. That is, citizens can hoist the national flag at their homes. Carry the national flag in a procession and rally.
