9 children tragically lost their lives when a temple wall collapsed in Madhya Pradesh state.
Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh received heavy rain last night. In this situation, a special worship was being conducted at Hardaul Baba temple in Shapur area this morning. A large number of boys and girls from the village participated in this. Around 8.30 am, due to rain, the surrounding wall of the house near the temple suddenly collapsed.
In this, 9 children were trapped in the rubble and died tragically. Two others were seriously injured. Acting on information, the police and officials reached the spot and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals for treatment. Police investigation revealed that the 50-year-old house had collapsed due to heavy rains.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has condoled the death of 9 children in the accident. The families of the deceased children will each receive Rs. He has also announced that financial assistance of 4 lakhs will be provided.
