The Government of Tamil Nadu, in collaboration with ETII, an Ahmedabad-based institute, is going to offer a one-year diploma course for entrepreneurship training. Chennai 500 people will be trained annually at ETII headquarters. The fee for this has been fixed at one lakh rupees.
The institution will decide the syllabus, admission rules, and student pass for this degree course. As the training will be in English, special training will also be provided to those who do not have English proficiency.
Graduates between 21 to 30 years can join. An internal allocation will be made for each district. There is a way to get 100% tuition assistance. Economically backward people can participate in this.
The meeting in this regard will be held at Tiruchirappalli District Collector’s office meeting on (22.05.2024) at 04:00 PM. Additional Chief Secretary Uma Shankar will address the exercise. Representatives of higher education institutes, micro and small business associations are expected to participate in this meeting. Tiruchirappalli District Collector M. Pradeep Kumar has said that business enthusiasts can participate in this.
