Madhya Pradesh State Special Seminar:
A special seminar titled ‘Opportunities to invest in Madhya Pradesh’ was held today at a private star hotel in Neelampur area of Coimbatore in order to invite businesses to start in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav and the secretaries of government departments attended and discussed the investment opportunities offered to the industry. and grants and invited to come and start business in Madhya Pradesh.

In this seminar, the programs for the development of the industry, including the opportunities for the industry, the concessions given to them, and government assistance were explained.
Representatives of Textile and Knitwear Industry, Engineering, Automobiles, Small, Small and Medium Enterprises, Information Technology Department from various parts of Coimbatore, Tirupur and Tamil Nadu participated in this.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohanyadav’s Keynote Address:
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav gave a special speech on the occasion and started his speech in Tamil with ‘Hello everyone’.
Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh have similarities in terms of natural resources, mineral resources and culture.
Coimbatore and Tirupur are said to be the center of the textile industry because of the hard work and dedication of the industry. Tirupur is a major textile manufacturing center in Asia. Similarly, Tamil Nadu is leading in automobile, engineering and pump manufacturing.
Now is the right time to invest in Madhya Pradesh. A conducive environment for the textile industry has been created there.
The production of cotton, which is the raw material of the textile industry, has increased in Madhya Pradesh. The number of large garment manufacturing companies has now increased. Industrial textile production is also progressing. It creates new job opportunities.
Textile sector is witnessing high growth with PLI scheme and PM Mitra textile park being given to Madhya Pradesh. We have implemented new industry norms and are giving large amount of subsidies. We have created an environment where women can also work safely.
Apparel design, research, training and skill development institutes have been set up in Madhya Pradesh. These improve the skills of the youth. New agreements signed for capacity building.
Large textile companies have invested in Madhya Pradesh due to cost-effective land for cotton and attractive financial returns.
Electricity subsidy and water concession are provided to textile companies. Also, Madhya Pradesh is emerging as a hub for automobile, engineering and machinery manufacturing.
All the necessary infrastructural facilities are good. A lot of attention is being paid to electric transportation. A new manufacturing plant is set up in Indore to promote the production of electric vehicles.
Madhya Pradesh has abundant, mineral rich water resource tourism opportunities. Located in the heart of the country, it is well connected by air, road and rail to other states.
In the power surplus state of Madhya Pradesh, emphasis is also being given to setting up renewable energy and solar power hubs.
New policies have been implemented in the IT sector making it easier to start a new business and expand the business.
The earlier Ujjain and Jabalpur conferences signed investment agreements worth crores of rupees to generate huge employment.
An industry conference will be held at Gopal on 7th and 8th February 2025. I invite everyone to participate in this. In India, which is progressing under the leadership of Indian Prime Minister Modi, the connection between Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu will continue forever,” he said.
The Chief Minister, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, who continued to meet with the media, said that Coimbatore has played a very important role in the industrial development of Tamil Nadu and similarly, Coimbatore-based companies should play a role in the industrial development of Madhya Pradesh.
Moreover, these seminars are being conducted on the basis that no industrial companies have been taken away from Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh should be the primary state for the expansion plan of industrial companies.
He also informed that industrial offices will be opened to connect industrial companies of Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu and industrial linkages will be created.
