The production of cotton, which is the raw material of the textile industry, has increased in Madhya Pradesh. The number of large garment manufacturing companies has now increased. Industrial textile production is also progressing. It creates new job opportunities.

Textile sector is witnessing high growth with PLI scheme and PM Mitra textile park being given to Madhya Pradesh. We have implemented new industry norms and are giving large amount of subsidies. We have created an environment where women can also work safely.

Apparel design, research, training and skill development institutes have been set up in Madhya Pradesh. These improve the skills of the youth. New agreements signed for capacity building.

Large textile companies have invested in Madhya Pradesh due to cost-effective land for cotton and attractive financial returns.

Electricity subsidy and water concession are provided to textile companies. Also, Madhya Pradesh is emerging as a hub for automobile, engineering and machinery manufacturing.

All the necessary infrastructural facilities are good. A lot of attention is being paid to electric transportation. A new manufacturing plant is set up in Indore to promote the production of electric vehicles.

Madhya Pradesh has abundant, mineral rich water resource tourism opportunities. Located in the heart of the country, it is well connected by air, road and rail to other states.

In the power surplus state of Madhya Pradesh, emphasis is also being given to setting up renewable energy and solar power hubs.

New policies have been implemented in the IT sector making it easier to start a new business and expand the business.

The earlier Ujjain and Jabalpur conferences signed investment agreements worth crores of rupees to generate huge employment.
