S. P. Velumani: In the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, the AIADMK stood at the 3rd position in the Coimbatore constituency and faced defeat. Currently, AIADMK minister SB Velumani met the media in Coimbatore.
When he spoke, “Winning and losing in political elections is normal, but Annamalai spoke a little too much. We should study why the voting percentage has decreased and try to correct it. Apart from that, it is not correct to say that the AIADMK leaders in the 2nd phase spoke more.
Earlier when there was a BJP alliance there were people like Tamilisai and L. Murugan. But then there was no problem. Edappadi Palaniswami has been talking about Anna, Jayalalithaa, and being in the AIADMK alliance only after coming to Annamalai.
Annamalai was the main reason for the exit from the AIADMK-BJP alliance. “If the same alliance had continued in this election, it would have got at least 30 to 35 seats,” he said proudly.
