Chennai : A mysterious person has threatened the Chennai Central, Egmore railway station with a bomb threat condemning the DMK government.
After letter bomb threats were received at railway stations, the police are carrying out intensive searches with the help of crash experts and sniffer dogs. Strong security arrangements have been made for the Egmore railway station
The bomb threat letter mentioned that “DMK is working against BMC”. In the past few days, there has been a spate of emailed bomb threats to schools and airports.
But, after all the search missions are over, they are found to be mere hoaxes. It is noteworthy that a separate committee has been set up to find out who is spreading this hoax.
