Chennai : Chief Minister M. K. Stalin said in the DMK district secretaries’ meeting held today that even if I go to America, I will take care of the party and the government.
M.K.Stalin is working as DMK President and Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Youth Welfare and Sports Minister Udayanidhi Stalin is active in the party as DMK’s youth secretary. Voices are getting stronger in the DMK party that he should be made the Deputy Chief Minister.
Regarding this, even prominent administrators including Minister Rajakannappan are demanding that Minister Udayanidhi Stalin should become the Deputy Chief Minister on the public platform. In various district DMK consultative meetings, resolutions were passed to appoint Minister Udayanidhi Stalin as Deputy Chief Minister.
In such an environment, a consultative meeting of DMK district secretaries was held today. DMK chief Chief Minister M.K.Stalin participated in this meeting and gave various views among the district secretaries. He said then, “Even if America goes to attract investments, I will take care of the party and the government.” It is said in the political circles that the Deputy Chief Minister gave an indirect reply to the speeches.
Earlier it was said that in today’s district secretaries’ consultation meeting, the party executives will present the demands of the deputy chief minister. Also, it was said that since Chief Minister M.K.Stalin is going to America to attract investments to Tamil Nadu on the 27th, there will be a consultation about the Deputy Chief Minister today.
Speaking at an event on the Deputy Chief Minister question, Minister Udayanidhi said that we are all working to support the Chief Minister.
