Full Moon and Weekends: Special buses are running all over Tamil Nadu from today

In Tamil Nadu, special buses are usually run on holidays. In this case, on behalf of the Transport Corporation, special buses will be operated from today due to Pelarnami and weekends.

In this regard, the government has said in a statement:-
More passengers
Today (Friday) 20/07/2024 (Saturday and full moon), 21/07/2024 (Sunday) week holidays are expected to see more passengers traveling from Chennai and other places across Tamil Nadu.

Movement from today
For this purpose special buses have been planned as usual in addition to the daily buses operated by the Tamil Nadu Government Transport Corporation. Today (Friday) 260 buses and 585 buses on 20/07/2024 (Saturday) are scheduled to run from Chennai Klambach to Thiruvannamalai, Trichy, Kumbakonam, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari, Thoothukudi, Coimbatore, Salem, Erode, Tirupur.

Koyambedu
Chennai Coimbatore to Tiruvannamalai, Nagai, Velankanni, Hosur. 45 buses are scheduled to run to Bangalore today Friday and 45 buses on Saturday 20/07/2024 from the above destinations and 200 special buses are scheduled to run from Bangalore, Tirupur, Erode and Coimbatore to various destinations.

Clampock
Operation of 50 air-conditioned buses with seat and sleeper facility from Chennai Klambach to Thiruvannamalai on 19/07/2024 by Government Rapid Transport Corporation. Also, travel by government buses to Tiruvannamalai from Chennai, Madurai, Salem, Coimbatore, Erode, Tirupur, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil, Thenkasi, Tuticorin and Bengaluru are arranged and booked.

Chennai Madhavaram
Also, 15 buses from Chennai Koyambedu bus station to Tiruvannamalai are scheduled to run on weekends and 15 buses on 20/07/2024 (Saturday) and 15 buses on full moon day. 30 special buses are scheduled to run from Madhavaram Bus Stand in Chennai to Tiruvannamalai tomorrow, Saturday, on the occasion of Full Moon Day.

Also, it is planned to run special buses from all places as per the needs of the passengers to facilitate their return from their hometowns to Chennai and Bangalore on Sunday. In this case, 7,613 passengers on Friday, 4,354 passengers on Saturday and 8,142 passengers on Sunday have booked to travel this weekend.
