The Honda Elevate SUV that has rehabilitated Honda in India has been launched in Japan in a new off-roading form. The concept car will feature a number of additional components that are suitable for off roading.
The exterior of this car is called Tough Style design. The front has headlamps with black and chrome finish. It has an all black grille, 3 pilot lights, yellow fog lights, bumper with black cladding and a muscular look.
Its ORVM and rub spoiler are completely black. Added rub rail to make it look rougher. Many of the features found in the concept car will also make it to the production model.
It has a 1.5-litre petrol engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Also expect a new type of infotainment system, CVT automatic transmission.
The Honda WRV Field Explorer concept will be accompanied by the Accord e:HEV Sports Line and the Red Bull RB19 F1 Race. The event will be held from January 12 to January 14.
The Honda Elevate SUV is priced at Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom) in India and goes up to Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom). The main special feature of this car is the Level 2 ADAS safety feature called Honda Sensing.
