Union Budget 2024 : Anbumani Ramadoss said in a press conference that if our alliance gets 25 MPs, Tamil Nadu’s name will be included in the budget.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented Union Budget 2024 in Parliament yesterday. Nitish Kumar-ruled Bihar and Chandrababu Naidu-ruled Andhra Pradesh, which are major players in the NDA alliance, have been allocated more projects and funds than other states in the budget. This was strongly opposed by the opposition parties.
In this budget, not a single project has been announced for Tamil Nadu apart from general projects and financial announcements. Tamil does not appear in the name Tamil or even in the form of Thirukkural. This was strongly opposed by Tamil Nadu political leaders.

The total central budget is 48 lakh crore rupees. Are there any plans for Tamil Nadu? Railway budget is 2 lakh 62 thousand crores. Most of them have come to Tamil Nadu this year. There are plans for Tamil Nadu in the budget. He said that it is not possible to name all the states in the budget
Also, Anbumani Ramadoss said in a press conference that if the people of Tamil Nadu voted for our alliance and allowed 25 MPs to win, Tamil Nadu’s name would have been included in the central budget, and then, this is not an answer, it is just talk.
It is worth noting that BAMA founder Dr. Ramadoss said about the budget yesterday that it was disappointing that there were no plans for Tamil Nadu in the central budget. BAM is an important part of the NDA alliance in Tamil Nadu. In the last parliamentary elections and the Vikravandi by-elections, BAMK was fielded with the support of the NDA alliance.
