Porsche launched the Panamera in India in November last year. Now the company has released the Panamera GTS model which is more powerful than the standard model. The Porsche Panamera GTS has been launched at a price of Rs 2.34 crore, which is Rs 64 lakh more than the standard Panamera model.
In terms of styling, we can see some changes to differentiate and upgrade this GTS model from the standard Panamera model. The GTS logo is featured on the sides and rear. A unique home page is provided. Dark tinted HD matrix LED headlamps and tail lamps are used. Red colored brake calipers are also provided.
Dark French colored tailpipes are provided. 21-inch center lock wheels are offered in Anthracite Grey. Along with the existing Carbon Matte interior package, Porsche has offered two unique interior packages for the Panamera GTS – Garmin Red and Slate Gray Neo.
While the V6 engine is used in the standard Panamera model, the Panamera GTS model is powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine. This engine is capable of churning out 500hp of power and accelerates to 100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds. Also, its top speed is 302 kmph.
Porsche will begin deliveries of the Panamera GTS model in their home country in the next few months. Delivery of the model in India is expected to begin by the end of this year or early next year. Porsche is also selling the Panamera Turbo model in the international market. As a hybrid model, it is unlikely to be launched in India. So, this Panamera GTS is going to be the powerful Panamera in India.
