Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 3 challenges waiting for Modi... Alliance parties to rein in!-oneindia news

In the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, the National Democratic Alliance won 292 seats. A party must have 272 members of Parliament to rule with a majority in the Indian Parliament. However, in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has secured only 240 members. Thus, with the support of the coalition parties, Narendra Modi has assumed the post of Prime Minister for the third time.

3 powerful states
Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and West Bengal are considered to be three important states in Indian politics. 170 MPs are elected from these three states. BJP has lost its chance to win in 29 constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, 14 constituencies in Maharashtra and 6 constituencies in West Bengal.

What is the reason for the decline of BJP?
There is an opinion that the BJP could not get a complete victory in these states because of three reasons: unemployment, central and state governments did not interfere in the farmers’ problems, and the BJP’s calculation that it could win the elections through division.

Allies giving crisis
The Telugu Desam and the United Janata Dal have got the most important place in the National Democratic Alliance this time. It was because of these two parties supporting the BJP that Modi became the prime minister again.

As the government is supported by the coalition parties, it is questionable whether all the plans of the BJP will be implemented in the coming days. This time the opposition parties have emerged as strong in the parliament.

Opposition Strategy
In the opposition India Alliance, DMK, Trinamool Congress, Shiv Sena and many other parties are talking about many problems related to the state. There are more opportunities to discuss long pending issues in the state in Parliament. Similarly, the parties in the National Democratic Alliance also have an opportunity to point out their state-specific problems.

NEET question paper leak issue
The two main parties in Tamil Nadu, DMK and AIADMK have been opposing the NEET exam until now. The Congress party, which introduced the NEET exam in 2013, is also of the mindset that the NEET exam should be cancelled. The opposition parties were talking a lot about the leak of the NEET exam question paper in the current parliamentary session.

Next 5 years of BJP
BJP will not be able to implement the plans they think of in the coming days. Even if we want to bring it, there are many discussions in the Parliament. Opposition parties are likely to raise strong questions.

It is said that there will be many issues and problems in taking decisions during the next 5-year rule, as the BJP took arbitrary decisions during its two-term rule in 2014 and 2019.

Challenges for the BJP government

  • The BJP government’s intention to implement the Common Civil Code across the country is unlikely in the coming days.
  • If the Agni Veer scheme is not changed, the BJP government will have trouble continuing to implement it as it was before.
  • BJP cannot come up with one country one election plan for the next 5 years.
