This immediately caused a stir as the actors’ union condemned it. In this case, the emergency working committee meeting of the Tamil Film Producers Association was held today at the office of the Producers Association in Ayaar Lantum area of ​​Chennai. Tamil Film Producers Association executives and executive committee members participated in this. In this, various issues including strike were discussed about the next steps.

Tamil Film Producers Association President Thenandal Murali, who met the media after the meeting, said that they are firm on the resolution they have already brought, and the executive committee has discussed it in this regard, and they are determined to implement it. Thenandal Murali said that it is in the hands of the actors to conduct and stop the shooting of Tamil films and said that they are not asking to reduce the salary of the actors, but they are demanding to change to the sharing system in the business as is the case in other cinema industries including Hindi and Telugu.

He said that the producers, distributors and theater owners in the cinema industry will face the loss and said that the shootings will continue if a smooth conclusion is reached in the negotiations with the actors’ union before the date indicated by them in the decision. Thenandal Murali said that the complaint against Dhanush has already been made known to the Actors’ Association and said that if necessary we will issue a written complaint.

Thenandal Murali explained that he had decided to take action against the 5 actors a year ago, and since there was no response from their side, he was taking action without any other option. Thenandal Murali said that action has been taken against Vishal for mismanagement and if the actors’ union calls for talks regarding this issue, Thenandal Murali said.
