Accordingly, the presence of the chemical has been found in 313 products like cashew and sesame, 60 herbs and spices, 48 diet foods and 34 other food products. India is mentioned in 332 items.
The rest of the products are listed in other countries. Following this, 87 cargo containers containing food products containing the cancer-causing chemical ethylene oxide were intercepted at port borders and the rest were removed from markets, according to the European Food Safety Commission.
