Batting first on the invitation of West Indies, who won the toss of the match, Sri Lanka players scored 275 runs for the loss of 06 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
On behalf of the Sri Lankan team, captain Samari scored 91 runs.
Neelakshika Silva scored 63 runs and Anushka Sanjeevani scored 55 runs.
Accordingly, the West Indies Women’s team, who came out for the innings, lost all wickets in 34.5 balls and scored only 115 runs.
Meanwhile, in the third and final one-day cricket match, the Sri Lankan women’s team recorded a 161-run win over the Himalayas and won the series 3-0.
It is noteworthy that the Sri Lankan team won a series against the West Indies women’s team after 16 years.
