Even though summer vacation has been given in Tamil Nadu till June 10 and schools have opened now, tourists are visiting in large numbers not only from Tamil Nadu but also from various parts of the neighboring state Kerala to bathe in knowledge.

They said that to protect their livelihood, autos should be allowed to go up to the Old Courtal waterfall, and steps should be taken to prevent the elderly people with disabilities from being dropped off for a long distance and getting hurt while walking from there.
