An attempted murder and robbery took place on April 23, 2017 at Koda Nadu Estate in the Nilgiris. In this murder and robbery incident, 10 people namely Sayan, Santhosh, Deepu, Satishan, Udayakumar, Jitin Joy, Jamsher Ali, Valayaru Manoj, Manoj Sami and Kutty alias Bijin from Kerala were arrested.
In this case, the trial of the case is going on in the district court in Ooty for more than 5 years. While the case is being investigated by the Coimbatore CBCID police, Deepu and Udayakumar, who are accused in the murder case, have been summoned for questioning in connection with the Kodanad murder-robbery case.
It is noteworthy that Jitin Joy and Jamshir Ali have been summoned to appear at the CBCID police office in Coimbatore on the 30th.
