KPY Bala popularly known as Grasshopper Bala has become one of the popular personalities among the people through Vijay TV. He was born on June 30, 1995 in Puducherry with the real name Balan Akash.
Born in a simple family, he was born as the son of Mr. Jaganathan and Poonguzhali couple. He also has a brother born with him. He who can be described as Kali Yuga Karna has been helping many people in various ways.

KP Y Bala has been adept at making everyone laugh at an early age. He has also won many prizes in his school days by performing on many stages and demonstrating his speaking skills.

This is because he scored 490 out of 500 marks in the 10th class general examination and got the status of the best student in the school.

But at Loyola College, seeing students dressed in ghettos doesn’t match his qualifications. He went back to Karaikal thinking that if he stayed here they would kill him.
Later he came to Chennai without taking a train ticket from Karaikal with just 130 rupees to remember Amudavanan and stayed at his house to look for film opportunities.

When he went to AVM studio for the first time to take a selfie with the famous actress, Bala stood in the queue to take a selfie and show it to his friends.
In this case, the actress finally asked Bala, “Come here, who are you, who are you?”
