Chief Minister M.K.Stalin has condoled with the families of 8 people who lost their lives in the Sivakasi firecracker factory explosion.

An explosion occurred in a privately-owned firecracker factory operating in Keezathiruthangal village. 8 people died in this accident.

The Chief Minister said that he was saddened to hear the news of the death of 8 workers including 3 women and 3 men in the explosion and has immediately contacted the Collector and instructed him to carry out rescue operations immediately.
