Bomb Threat : More than 60 schools in Delhi, Noida received bomb threat emails.
It has been reported that more than 60 schools (60 in Delhi and 1 in Noida) have received bomb threat emails in Delhi and UP Noida. Following these threatening emails, the Delhi Police was informed. The students were immediately evacuated from the school
Later, bomb squads conducted intensive searches in all schools where bomb threats were made. Delhi Police sources said that no suspicious or feared material was found.
Also, Delhi Police said parents and public should not panic about this bomb threat. Further, the Union Home Ministry has said that this is just a hoax and an investigation is underway as to who issued this fake threat.
It has been reported that the Cybercrime police are actively searching for the identity of the person who sent the threatening e-mail.
Sanskriti School in Chanakyapuri, Delhi, Mother Mary School in Mayur Vihar in East Delhi and Delhi Public School in Dwarka received email threats early this morning. Since then, similar emails have been sent to 60 schools claiming to have explosives on the school premises.
