German luxury car manufacturer Porsche has launched the updated 2024 Panamera model in India. This model, which was released internationally last year, has now been released in India. Porsche has also announced that the delivery of this luxury car will start from today.
The third generation Panamera that has been launched now has some subtle cosmetic updates and some additional features over the previous model. Exterior The new Panamera gets redesigned headlamps, redesigned window lines.
We can see some new changes in the interior as well. The new Panamera also gets a new steering wheel and a dashboard change like the Daegon model. Importantly, the gear selector, which was earlier on the left, has now been shifted to the right of the steering wheel. It also gets a 10.9-inch passenger screen, 8-way electrically adjustable seats, six airbags and Porsche Communication Management.
The Porsche Panamera launched in India is powered by a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 engine. This engine is capable of producing 343hp of power and 500Nm of torque. This engine is mated to an 8-speed PDK automatic gearbox. Capable of reaching a top speed of 270 kmph, the new Panamera accelerates from 0-100 kmph in just 4.8 seconds.
With these changes, the updated new Panamera has been launched in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.7 crore. The Panamera with this V6 engine has no direct competitor in India. Perhaps if the V8-powered Panamera is launched, it will compete with the ‘Mercedes-AMG GT 63 SE Performance 4-Door Coupe’ that is sold in India.
