As the Indian Nursing Council deadline is only 35 days away, the students who are waiting for the Nursing Entrance Exam are in a frenzy.
Puducherry State has 9 Private Nursing Colleges apart from the Mother Teresa Hospital. Out of these, there are more than 700 B.Sc Nursing Certificates. In this, a total of 375 nursing seats are being filled through Sendak as government reserved seats, 80 in Mother Teresa College and 295 in private nursing college. It has been announced that the admission of students for nursing courses this year will be conducted only on the basis of entrance examination.
However, as no announcement has been made regarding the syllabus for the entrance examination, the students are suffering. Entrance exam for nursing courses in Puducherry should be conducted by June 15. Classes should start from August 1.
The Nursing Council of India has directed that the admissions should be completed by September 30. An announcement was made in this regard on January 29. But last month, it was announced that there will be nursing entrance exam in Puducherry on 15th.
There are only 35 days left for the Indian Nursing deadline. Still the state government has not announced the syllabus for the entrance exam. The students are not sure that they are going to face the entrance exam. They are waiting for the governor and chief minister to announce the syllabus for the nursing entrance exam soon.
