Chennai: Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai has said that he will not stop speaking no matter how many cases are filed against him.
Last year, Annamalai had made some comments about late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Annadurai. In other words, Annamalai had said that Muthuramalinga Devar sternly warned Annadurai for talking about the goddess in a program held in Madurai Meenakshi Amman Koil in 1956, after which Anna apologized to Muthuramalinga Devar and ran away.
While the DMK strongly objected to Annamalai’s speech, he said that there was evidence in the newspapers of that time for what he had said. But the press reported that Muthuramalinga Devar did not say anything like that to Anna.
Subsequently, Piyush Manush filed a case against Annamalai in Salem 4th Judicial Arbitration Court. The court heard the case and said, “If a case has been filed against Annamalai under the provisions of the law that cause conflict between two factions, the permission of the government should be obtained for this.
Accordingly, the Tamil Nadu government decided that the complaint filed by Piyush Manush contained a misdemeanor and sent it to the Governor for approval. After considering this, Governor Ravi also approved to file a case against Annamalai. Accordingly, the Tamil Nadu government today issued an order to prosecute Annamalai. A copy has been sent to Salem Court. It is said that when the case comes up for hearing in the next few days, Annamalai will be summoned for his appearance.
In this regard, in a statement published by Annamalai on her X page, “In the last 3 years, many cases have been filed against me and BJP officials for speaking the truth. Now they have given permission to file a case against me.
No matter how many cases are brought against me, no one can stop me from speaking. They are suing me for speaking the truth. “People know the reality of DMK, which has given responsibility in the party to a drug dealer,” said Annamalai.
