A bus trying to cross the bridge
In this case, rainwater was stagnant to the extent of 4 feet in the lower part of the railway bridge which is located on the road from Valliyur to Tiruchendur. Due to this, a government bus going from Nagercoil to Tiruchendur is trying to cross this bridge while the traffic in that area is affected.
Alerted public
But the bus got stuck in the standing water in the middle of the bridge and broke down. Due to this, all the passengers in the bus suffered. The fire department immediately rushed to the bus and rescued the public safely. Meanwhile, before the bus got stuck in the water, a few members of the public there warned the bus driver not to go.
