The T20 World Cup series is currently underway in the United States and the West Indies. In order to gather support for the Indian team in that series, Sidran has taken the initiative ‘Do What Matters’ featuring Dhoni. As part of this, Team Dhoni’s cars will visit 26 cities in India to support the Indian team.
Dhoni as Citron’s Brand Ambassador:
Citron announced Dhoni as their company’s brand ambassador only last month. It was also reported that Dhoni received Rs 7 crore as an advance. Citroen, which sells various models of cars in India, has made Dhoni its brand ambassador in order to popularize their brand.
Mechanical change in Dhoni edition models?
It seems that the Citroen C3 and C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition models will not have any mechanical changes. The 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine offered in the standard model of both the cars is going to be offered in the Dhoni Edition models as well. Also, the 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system is expected to come with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
In India, the Citroen C3 is priced between Rs 6.16 lakh and Rs 9 lakh ex-showroom. The C3 Aircross model is priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 14.11 lakh ex-showroom. It remains to be seen whether the next Dhoni Edition models will be priced higher than this.
