Delhi: Actress and new MP Farmers are rallying in Delhi in support of CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur, who slapped election winner Kangana Ranaut on the cheek. They have been protesting on a large scale since June 9 demanding that no action be taken against Kulwinder Kaur.
Actress Kangana Ranaut, who has been an ardent supporter of the BJP, has been given a seat by the BJP to contest in the Mandi constituency of Himachal Pradesh in this parliamentary election. Kangana Ranaut won by securing 5.37 lakh votes.
It was in this context that when Kangana Ranaut went to the Chandigarh airport yesterday, a female CISF constable named Kulwinder Kaur, who was on security duty, slapped Kangana on the cheek. Shocked by the unexpected slap, Kangana rushes out of the airport. Reporters surrounded him and asked him questions, but he could not answer.
CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur said that Kangana slapped the farmers who were protesting in Delhi in 2020 because she called them terrorists. Subsequently, he was suspended. Further, a departmental inquiry has also been ordered against him.
In this case, the farmers of Punjab have jumped into protest, insisting that no action should be taken against him. In this regard, the farmers will hold a justice rally on June 9 in Mohali, Punjab.
