A father and son, the owners of a buffalo, who mauled a woman and injured her in Tiruvottiyur, Chennai, were arrested by the police.
Koteeswararao and his son Venkala Sai from Tiruvottiyur Komata Nagar area were arrested and the police conducted an investigation. At that time, it was revealed that Koteswara Rao was involved in the business of buying cows from Andhra Pradesh and selling them on commission.
Also, while slaughtering the cows from Andhra Pradesh, the escaped cow got scared and hit the woman. A few days ago, a woman was mauled by a buffalo in Tiruvottiyur. The video footage related to this was released and caused great fear among the public.
Subsequently, the demand for the arrest of the concerned persons was intensified. In this situation, the father and son who are the owners of the cow have been arrested.
