Congress Parasitic Party… Rides on Alliance’s Shoulders; Modi heavily criticized in Lok Sabha

The Prime Minister said that even though the country has chosen the path of development, the Congress is bent on spreading confusion Narendra Modi said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his response to the motion of thanks to the President’s speech in the Lok Sabha, even as opposition parties staged protests and laid siege in the middle of the House demanding justice for Manipur.

“The Congress party has won the support of its allies. Congress and its allies are trying to impress upon people that they have defeated us. “After 2014, Congress has become a parasitic party and siphons off votes from its allies,” Modi said.

“South is talking against North and North is against West. They have tried to divide on the basis of religion, they have even given election tickets to those who supported the division of the country. They are spreading rumors to divide people on the basis of caste. They are also trying to spread economic chaos. The way they take economic decisions in their states is leading the country towards financial crisis. They tried to bring the democratic system into a question mark. They are spreading confusion over CAA. They are trying to foment riots in the country to fulfill their political objectives,” Modi said.

Hitting out at Congress’s campaign promise of Rs 8,500 monthly financial assistance to every woman, Modi said the Congress had lied about EVMs, the Constitution, reservation, Rafale, HAL, LIC and banks.

“On Agniveer, lies were told in the House. Similar lies were told about Minimum Support Prices. It is unfortunate for the House that its dignity is being affected. When a party that has sat here for 60 years and knows the work of the government, chooses the path of confusion, it is a proof that the country is going in a dangerous direction. It is all for the country. Modi said it is an insult to our freedom fighters who made sacrifices.

“The people of the country will not forgive what happened yesterday. Hindus were said to be violent. Is this your value? Is this your character? Is this your hatred for the Hindus of this country? This country will not forget this for centuries. Those who compare Hinduism with dengue, malaria, look down on Hinduism, They like to insult and think, is this insult accidental or a part of design,” Modi said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that as the issue of NEET examination has intensified, we are taking serious steps to prevent the leakage of question papers. “We will not let go of those who have played with the future of the youth. Arrests have taken place across the country. We have already passed a strict law in this regard. Necessary steps are being taken to strengthen the examination system,” Modi said.

The House saw Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticizing Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi as a man with “palak budhi (childish behaviour)” who tried to garner sympathy without revealing his wrongdoings. Mr. Speaker…you smile and bear it all, but something must be done about what happened here on Monday, otherwise it is not good for Parliament. Such efforts should not be dismissed as ‘palak buddhi’. A deep conspiracy,” he said.

Concluding his two-hour long speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Truth cannot be suppressed, lies have no roots. “Let Palak Budhi Satputhi (Let the child’s mind attain enlightenment). Truth can never be defeated by shouting. I have rejoiced today – today I have lived in the power of truth.”
