It has been reported that arrangements are being made to set up a restaurant in a train carriage for the first time at Dindigul Railway Station in Madurai Division.

This train coach restaurant is located in the two-wheeler parking area of Dindigul Railway Station. The Railway Administration has issued a notice requesting electronic auction contract points for this purpose.

Restaurant owners with three years of experience in running a restaurant can participate in this e-auction. The restaurant owner who wants to participate in the auction must first provide the necessary documents and obtain a digital signature certificate (Digital Signature Certificate – class III) along with a fee of Rs 10,000.
Electronic auction
Once you get this certificate, you can participate in all electronic auctions. The railway administration will lay the track and provide the coach. The coach shall be converted into a restaurant by the contractor at his expense.

For this, 2,625 square feet of land has been allocated at Dindigul Railway Station. At this place, the necessary facilities can be set up for the customers. Electricity, drinking water etc
The facilities will be provided by the Railway Administration as per the existing statutory schemes.
Electronic procurement scheme
The contractor should link his State Bank of India account with the contractor details on the Indian Railway E-Procurement System website. The bank account must have the required advance amount to participate in the contract.
Internet auction
Then you have to participate in the online auction which will be held on August 6th from 2 pm to 2.30 pm. The license will be issued to the contractor whose bid is more than the one-year entitlement fixed by the Railways after participating in the auction.
