78th Independence Day.. Chief Minister M. K. Stalin hoisted the national flag at Chennai Fort

On the occasion of the country’s 78th Independence Day, Chief Minister M. K. Stalin hoisted the national flag at Chennai Fort Kottalam and paid his respects.

The 78th Independence Day of the country is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country today. On this occasion, Chief Minister M.K.Stalin reached the fort at 8.45 am to participate in the Independence Day ceremony held at Chennai Fort. Chief Secretary Shivdas Meena welcomed him. Later, Chief Minister M.K.Stalin accepted the parade honors of the police.

Later he hoisted the national flag on the fort tower and paid his respects. Subsequently, he delivered an Independence Day speech to the people of Tamil Nadu. Speaking at that time, Chief Minister M.K.Stalin said that he bowed his head for the success that the people of Tamilnadu have been giving to him, who has been working as a people’s charity to be true to the people, and said that we have the duty and responsibility to implement the noble principles of Tamilnadu to the whole of India.

Chief Minister M.K.Stalin said that the artist was the one who got the right of hoisting the national flag 50 years ago by the Chief Ministers of the states and he was proud to get the opportunity to hoist the national flag for the 4th year. He announced that 1000 dispensaries will be opened across Tamil Nadu in the first phase under the new scheme called Chief Minister’s Dispensary, and he said that the government will provide ₹3 lakh subsidy to well-performing pharmacists and co-operatives along with necessary loan assistance. Also, Chief Minister M. K. Stalin said that by January 2026, more than 75,000 government posts will be filled.
