It is a pleasure to participate in this event. We are very proud to say that we are Indian. Every state has different culture, tradition, dance etc. In Tamil Nadu, Shiva Vytam is very important. Among the traditional arts of Tamil Nadu, Poikkal Nidhu, Mayilattam Wailatam are included in this program.
During the introductory meeting of the event, a question was raised about the non-inclusion of Tamil Nadu arts, which was added following the director’s assurance that it would definitely be included.A music learning center to be started in the name of Ilayaraja at Chennai IIT!-oneindia news

2047 is very important. Because it is 100 years since independence. On behalf of the IIT Chennai Research Center, musician Ilayaraja said that the foundation stone of the Music Research Center has been laid today.

Music composer Ilayaraja who spoke on stage,

Today is an important day in my life. A small boy (me) came to Chennai to learn music. His mother sent 400 rupees to him and his brother Bhaskar. Don’t know about music. He came to learn. If you have come and learned till now, you have not learned. I came looking for this kind of learning, I started to start a center and teach everyone, but if I want to learn in my hometown, there is no one to teach. I searched.. I searched.

Don’t give water to someone, make him thirsty. Definitely
He will find the water himself. Be it studying or doing any work, there should be a thirst in it. If you try with that thirst and ideal, you can achieve any place, everyone says that I have achieved. I don’t know anything like that. A music learning center to be started in the name of Ilayaraja at Chennai IIT!-oneindia newsI feel the same way I left the village that day. Today is the inauguration of this research center. Is it enough to just say inauguration? He said whether or not to inaugurate, and the people in the arena sang along.

Now I have started you with interest without any admission without any qualification. I was told that 200 Ilayarajas would come to this center and the music left me breathless. Music comes naturally to me.

He came from the village to learn without knowing anything and consulted a lot and said that he is doing this with IIT and pointed out Bharathi’s lines, today is an important day. This center will come good if we go as planned.
