Ampere Electric Scooters:
Ampere currently sells five models of electric scooters in India namely Primus, Seal EX, Rio Li Plus, Magnus and the newly launched Nexus. The company has released the Nexus model in two variants namely Nexus ET and Nexus ST. Both the models were launched at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 1.09 lakh and Rs 1.19 lakh respectively.
Electric Scooters Price Drop:
Following that launch, Ampere has now slashed the prices of their Rio Li Plus and Magnus electric scooters. The Rio Li Plus electric scooter was previously priced at Rs 69,900, but now it has been reduced by Rs 10,000 to Rs 59,900.
Its other electric scooter, the Magnus, is sold in two variants, EX and LT. While the Magnus EX variant was previously priced at Rs 1.05 lakh, it has now been reduced by Rs 95,000. Similarly, the Magnus LT variant, which was earlier priced at Rs 93,900, has now been reduced to Rs 84,900.
Other Electric Scooter Prices by Ampere:
Apart from the above mentioned models, the company is selling two electric scooter models namely Primus and Seal EX. Among these, the Seal EX electric scooter is priced at Rs 87,000 ex-showroom and the Primus electric scooter is priced at Rs 1.46 lakh ex-showroom. The Primus is being marketed as Ampere’s flagship model.
Features of a discounted electric scooter:
Ampere has given a 1.3kWh battery to the Rio Li Plus electric scooter model, which is currently priced at Rs 59,900 with a price cut of Rs 10,000. The Rio Li Plus has a range of up to 70 km on a single charge with the help of this battery. But, the maximum speed of this electric scooter is 25 kmph. Ampere sells this electric scooter for short distance use within the city.
Another electric scooter that has been slashed at the moment is the Ampere offering a 38.25AH battery in the Magnus. With the help of this battery, you can travel up to 110 km on a single charge. This electric scooter has a maximum speed of 50 km/h.
