In the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections in Tamil Nadu DMK The coalition won 40 seats. It won 40 seats including Puducherry. BJP State President Annamalai contested in Coimbatore People’s Constituency. Annamalai lost by getting 4,47,101 votes. He lost by a margin of about 1,17,561 votes.
DMK candidate Ganapathi Rajkumar won by securing 5,64,662 votes. ADMK’s Kavin Singh Ramachandran secured 2,35,313 votes and moved to the 3rd position.
