Arvind Kejriwal: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate last March in a money laundering case related to liquor policy in Delhi.
A special court granted bail to Kejriwal on June 20 in this case. They demanded that the Enforcement Department file a petition in the Delhi High Court to cancel the bail granted by the special court and investigate it as an urgent case.
Based on that, the Delhi High Court accepted the request and conducted the investigation. At that time, the trial court first ordered an interim stay on the bail granted.
Moreover, at that time the Supreme Court said that there was no need to interfere in the case related to this bail as it was already going on in the Delhi High Court and adjourned the case to June 26 (Wednesday).
In this case, the hearing on this petition was held today. Judge Kathir Kumar Jain, who heard the case at that time, ordered a ban on the bail granted to Arvind Kejriwal by the Delhi Special Court.
