BMW has launched the new ‘M 1000 XR’ crossover bike in the performance-oriented M series lineup in India. The M 1000 XR is the third M series bike launched in India, with BMW already selling the M 1000 R and M 1000 RR in India.
BMW has launched the new M 1000 RR sport tourer bike with the engine used in the S 1000 RR sports bike sold in India, in the wake of BMW’s S 1000 XR sport tourer bike. The M 1000 XR is the world’s most powerful crossover bike with an engine that churns out 201hp of power and 113Nm of torque. This bike has a maximum speed of 278 kmph.
BMW has designed this bike to be sporty yet not too cumbersome to use. The new bike comes with various riding modes, launch control, pitlane speed limiter, race ABS and M brakes. Also, facilities such as heated grips, cruise control and TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) are also provided in this premium luxury bike.
The M 1000 XR crossover bike also gets features like 850 mm seat height, 20 liter fuel tank and electronic rider assist like the M 1000 RR bike. Being a sport tourer, a sporty electronic suspension setup has also been used on this bike. This new BMW M 1000 XR crossover bike has been launched in India at a price of Rs 45 lakh
