Srirangam Fire Department, who got the information, from 2 pm to 6:30 pm, more than 20 people actively searched for the boy. But the boy was not found.
Recovery as a corpse
The ongoing search for the boy was resumed from 5.30 am today.
Firefighters with the help of a drone camera and oxygen-assisted scuba diving training searched for the boy. After an intensive search, the body of the boy was recovered.
