The Coimbatore Cybercrime Police has registered a case against popular YouTuber Chavku Shankar for defaming female police officers on his Red Pigs YouTube channel. He was later arrested and lodged in Coimbatore Central Jail. After that, action was taken under the Anti-Hooligan Act.

Subsequently, the Trichy Cyber ​​Crime Police arrested Chavku Shankar, who was lodged in the Coimbatore Central Jail. After the police custody today, he was taken to the government hospital and after a medical examination, the police again produced him in the court at 04:00 pm today. Following this, the judge accepted his request and made a written recommendation to the Coimbatore Jail Superintendent. We have filed a bail application for him in connection with the case against him in Trichy. He has received an order to file a petition in the High Court to transfer him to another jail.

Chau Shankar’s bail plea will be taken up for hearing in two days. Chav Shankar’s lawyer Mullai Suresh expressed hope that bail would be available soon.
