Police Inspector R.A.T.C.S. who went to Kalmunai Special Task Force Camp near the popular resort in Kalmunai Metropolitan Area of Amparai District yesterday (21) at 6.00 pm following a secret information received by Kalmunai Special Task Force Camp. The Special Task Force led by Ratnayake spent around Rs. A person who was in possession of ice drug worth 9 lakhs was arrested.
The arrested person is a 47-year-old resident of the suburbs of Colombo and 25 grams of 150 milligrams of the drug ice was seized from the suspect’s possession by the Special Task Force.
The arrested person along with the evidence has been submitted to the Kalmunai Headquarters Police for court action and the Special Task Force has also conducted further investigations.
