Actor Simbu has donated Rs 2 lakh to comedian Vengal Rao who is suffering from health problems.
Venkal Rao hails from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. He started his career as a martial artist in Tamil and Telugu cinema and has worked as a martial artist for 20 years. He has worked with Vadivelu in most Tamil movies. All the comedy scenes in which Venkel acted with him were a hit. Apart from this, he has also acted in character roles in a few films.
Hailing from Andhra state, Venkal Rao has acted in many films not only in Tamil films but also in Telugu film industry. He has acted in more than 100 films in Tamil and more than 30 films with Vadivelu. He was suffering from health problems last year and was being treated at a hospital in Andhra Pradesh.
In this case, actor Venkal Rao, who was recently admitted to the hospital without the function of his arms and legs, requested the actors and actresses through a video to help him in his treatment. As the video went viral on social media, many film actors are lending a helping hand for Vengal Rao’s medical treatment. Actor Simbu has also given financial assistance of two lakh rupees.
