Election2024: In the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections held yesterday, maximum votes were recorded in the state of Tripura.

Voting was held in 88 constituencies in 13 states and union territories, including Kerala and Karnataka, in the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections. Voting started at 7 am yesterday and ended at 6 pm.

Earlier, elections were held in one phase for all 40 constituencies in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. In this, 65.54 percent votes were recorded. The Election Commission of India has reported that 63.50% votes have been registered in the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections held yesterday.

Voters from 13 States and Union Territories braved the heat at their polling booths, including youth, first-generation voters and all eligible voters turned out to cast their votes with enthusiasm.

According to the Election Commission, the maximum voter turnout was 79.46% in Tripura and the lowest was 54.85% in Uttar Pradesh.
