Dhanush directed Sandeep, Kalidas Jayaram, Tushara Vijayan, Aparna, SJ Surya and Prakash Raj in the highly anticipated movie “Rayan” released today.
Plot:
The hero Kathavarayan (Dhanush) leaves his hometown with his 2 brothers and a younger sister after losing his parents at a young age. After that he runs a fast food shop and raises everyone. Dhanush lives his life without going to any fuss and lives as if he has his job, but his second brother Muthu (Sandeep Kishan) brings trouble in his life. How it affects Dhanush’s family and how Dhanush copes with it is the rest of the story
Acting Demon Dhanush:
Dhanush, who started his acting chapter with the film “Tulluvatho Ihla”, went through many criticisms, mockery and improved his acting at every stage and today people celebrate him as “Nadipu Asuran”.
Performance by actors
Dhanush has shown a difference in style, dress and behavior as Karar’s brother. He keeps clapping in aggressive scenes and flustered in emotional scenes. Especially his transformation scenes are so terrifying that the screen catches fire. Sandeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram and Tushara Vijayan have added strength to the story as three pillars. The acting is amazing, realizing the depth of the role given to them. As the villain, “Acting Demon” SJ Suriya has as usual grabbed attention with his menacing performance. Also the performances of Aparna, Selvaraghavan, Saravanan and Prakash Raj have been used to move the story interestingly.
Direction and Music:
Director Dhanush, who handled tender love in Power Bondi, has handled a blood-drenched Revenge story in this one. From the first scene to the end of the film, the hard work of director Dhanush is evident. Although it is not an innovative story, he has introduced innovation in the way the story is told. Another hero of the film, music legend AR Rahman, his songs and background music have increased the quality of the film manifold. Especially where his voice says “Usure Neethane Nee Thane” is mind melting.
Pros of the film:
Starring Dushara Vijayan, Sandeep, SJ Surya
Interesting storyline
Directed by Dhanush
Interlude and Climax
Cinematography
Background music of music storm
Emotion and fight scenes
Cons of the film:
Predictable scenarios
Extreme violence
Note: “There is no violence in the film, but the film is in the violence”. All in all, “Rayan” is a quality film with a mix of action and sentiment.
