Story of the film
A man from a middle-class family with a penchant for acting, turned into an actor and a star in cinema? Isn’t it? That is the story of the film ‘Star’.
movie review
Gavin, who plays the role of Kalai in the film, dreams of becoming an actor and has been struggling since childhood. The film stars Lal as the hero’s father and Geetha Kailasam as Gavin’s mother. Kalai had an insatiable love for cinema since childhood.
He wishes to somehow become a big star in cinema. He is also supported by his father. At one stage, he tries to get acting opportunities by showing his skills on stage in school and college. But nothing worked.
Then first comes a girlfriend and in short days that too ends. Later, he leaves for Mumbai in search of an opportunity, and an accident occurs at the moment of an opportunity. Kalai, who is lying with bruises on his face, thinks that he will never be able to act again, so he forgets about acting and starts looking for work.
Then, the second school sweetheart comes. While going like this, at one point he himself tried to forget acting, but his dream did not let go. Vidamal is suffering. All in all, the film is full of emotions like love, tears, pain and affection.
Although it can be said that Gavin has taken the film alone, Lal Mukal Vasi has shared a share with him. Not only that, but also his mother. Next the film has two heroines Meera (Preethi Mukundan) and Surabi (Aditi Bohankar) while the second hero is Yuvan.
The music is composed like Taraka Mantra and all the songs are special. The director has said exactly what needs to be said. Everything is well done, it is a must watch movie. Let’s see once.
Plus:
An important plus of the film is one of the emotional scenes in the film. On the other hand, the background music and songs are composed by music director Yuvan Shankar Raja.
He has made people emotional with all those emotional scenes in the background music. Based on the film, we can say that he is the second hero.
Minus:
Can’t say anything negative about the film. Although there are a few scenes that falter here and there, the screenplay does not slow down the pace of the film.
