Mango
If you leave the mangoes outside, they will wither and the skin will shrink. But mangoes that are kept in the fridge and eaten are not tasty at all.
It ripens when refrigerated. But its smell and taste will decrease.
It is best to buy half-ripe mangoes with no scratches and keep them covered and ripe in a dark place at home.
Banana
Bananas should never be refrigerated. When kept like that, the excess cold in the fridge will cause the skin of the fruit to ripen. And the fruit will rot.
It is best to keep bananas at room temperature to ripen even if they are a bit ripe. Only ripe banana can be kept in the bridge for some time and taken out before eating.
If you want to preserve it for a longer period of time, peel it off and put it in a ziploc cover and put it in the freezer.
Guava fruit
Guava is one of the fruits that can withstand heat and grow. This guava fruit is not very cold tolerant. Refrigeration will not ripen properly.
Along with that, the water content in it will be completely absorbed and the taste of the fruit will also spoil. So, as much as possible, keep the guava fruit at room temperature to ripen or eat it as a fruit.
Citrus fruits like oranges and lemons
The first thing we do after buying lemons is to refrigerate them. Moreover, in many houses we keep a separate place for it. This is very, very wrong.
Not only lemons but also oranges. Citrus fruits should never be refrigerated. Because their skin naturally secretes some kind of oil.
This oil solidifies like wax when kept in the fridge. So the taste of the fruit changes completely.
Citrus fruits can be covered with a clean white cloth soaked in water and squeezed and kept outside. You can keep sprinkling water lightly from time to time.
Jackfruit
Jackfruit is a seasonal fruit. The fruit is especially abundant in summer.
Another important point is that they grow more in tropical regions. So it ripens very fast in summer.
Refrigerating such fruits to keep them cool will spoil the quality of the fruit.
Even if it is bought raw, it is best to keep it at room temperature to ripen.
