Former A. who was arrested in the case of Rs 100 crore land fraud and lodged in Trichy Central Jail.DMK Minister MR Vijayabaskar got bail in court. Following this, today he came out of Trichy jail on bail under the court order.
Later, MR Vijayabaskar said when he met the press; “In the last three years, 31 cases have been registered against me. These are all political cases. Beyond that, they have now registered a civil case against me, converted it into a criminal case and taken it to the extent of a CPCID investigation. I got justice in court. I am out now after getting bail.
I will face this case according to law. I will definitely get rid of this case. Nobody molested me when I was in CPCID, police custody. Not only me, but everyone related to me has been affected by this case in every way.
A large group has been working to keep me in jail for the past two months. You know better. Everyone knows who in Karur would have asked him to do this case. I would like to express my gratitude to General Secretary Edappadi Palanichamy, former Ministers and ADMK executives and lawyers for their support,” MR Vijayabaskar said.
Earlier, in the hearing held till midnight last night in the presence of Karur Criminal Arbitration Court Judge Bharat Kumar, the judge granted conditional bail after hearing arguments from both sides. It is noteworthy that Mr. Vijayabaskar came out of the Trichy Central Jail this evening as bail was granted under the conditions of signing at the CPCID office both in the morning and in the evening.
