Foreign Minister Ali Sabri participates in the Cairo Chamber of Commerce event

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Presidential Counsel Ali Sabri, who is on an official visit to Egypt, attended an event organized by the Cairo Chamber of Commerce in coordination with the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce to promote trade and economic cooperation between Sri Lanka and Egypt.

The event was attended by the President of the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce (FEDCOC), the Assistant Minister of State for Asian Affairs, the President of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce and high-level representatives of FEDCOC and the Cairo Chamber of Commerce.

Cairo Chamber of Commerce is Egypt’s first and largest Chamber of Commerce with over 6,00,000 members. The event led to constructive discussions on expanding trade and investment between the two countries, particularly in sectors including agriculture, apparel manufacturing, information technology, renewables and energy tourism. “I extend a warm invitation to the Egyptian business community to explore the attractive trade and investment opportunities offered by Sri Lanka for mutual growth and prosperity. I am confident that our future collaborations will increase bilateral trade and strengthen economic relations,” said Minister Ali Sabri.
