Chennai: People are shocked as the price of ornamental gold is again close to Rs.55 thousand.
Due to international crude oil export and import, petrol and diesel prices fluctuate. Similarly, when inflation and demand for gold increases, the price of gold also increases.
Thus, the price of gold is rising and falling every day. The price of gold, which was slightly lower yesterday, rose by Rs. 640 to Savaran today.
As of today (18-05-2024) in Chennai, 22 carat jewelery rose by Rs 640 to Rs 54,800 per gram and Rs 80 to Rs 6,850 per gram. Similarly, silver prices rose to an all-time high of Rs 4 to Rs 96.50 per gram and Rs 4,000 to Rs 96,500 per kg.
As of yesterday (17-05-2024) in Chennai, the price of 22 carat jewelery fell by Rs 200 to Rs 54,160 per gram and Rs 25 to Rs 6,770 per gram. Likewise, silver prices were unchanged at Rs.92.50 per gram and Rs.92,500 per kg.
