Chennai : Rohit Sharma has opened up about the toughest bowler he has faced.
The T20 World Cup cricket tournament will be held in the West Indies and the United States from June. Meanwhile, India captain Rohit Sharma spoke about the toughest bowler he faced while participating in a program on Radio 103.8 Dubai.
Speaking about this, Rohit Sharma said, “I usually watch Dale Steyn’s old videos 100 times before I go to bat. Even after looking at it like that, I’d somehow be outmatched by his ball. That’s how good his bowling is.
For me he is a great legend. I have played with him many times. All his balls are very fast. I don’t think it’s that easy for me to face him. If he is playing in a match, he will play with the mindset that he must win that match. It is a pleasure to play against him,” said Rohit Sharma.
Also, South Africa fast bowler Dale Steyn made his Test debut against England in 2004. Following this, he announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in 2021. It is also noteworthy that Steyn has taken 439 wickets in 93 Test matches.
