If Seaman dares, let him stand in the polls: the challenge of wealth

Tamil Nadu Congress Committee President Selva Perundagai has challenged Seeman to stand in the election if he has the courage.

For the people of Wayanad affected by the calamity, relief materials worth fifteen lakh rupees were sent from the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee headquarters, Chennai Satyamurthy Bhawan.
Assembly Congress Party Whip Asan Maulana sent the trucks containing the relief goods, flagged off by Tamil Nadu Congress Committee President Selva Perundagai.

In this, 1000 shirts, 1000 lungis, 1000 t-shirts, nighties, towels, undergarments and 4000 children’s clothes including 100 mobile phones were sent by trucks from Tamil Nadu Congress Committee Head Office, Chennai Satyamurthy Bhavanan to Wayanad.

Selva Perundagai mentioned that the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee Foundation has announced that the relief amount of 1 crore rupees will be given as the first installment and said that it will be given to President Rahul Gandhi on the 8th.

Similarly, he said that the leaders of the Congress volunteers in all the districts are sending what they need to the people of Wayanad immediately.

Selva Perundagai also recalled that the Congress had announced to give one month’s salary of legislators as relief.

Selvaperundagai said that the Prime Minister and his ministers who did not go to the riot-hit Manipur state would not visit Wayanad and do anything.

Responding to Nam Tamil Party leader Seeman’s comment on Rahul Gandhi, he said,

Asked whether he won by a margin of five lakh votes because he did not act as a Member of Parliament, Selvaperundagai replied that Seeman did not have the courage to stand for elections.
